What emergency precautions are taken?

Student safety is a top priority. Both camp directors are trained in CPR and first aid, and a fully equipped medical kit is carried during all daily activities. The camp team has identified nearby medical facilities and determined the fastest routes to emergency services.

What curriculum will be used?

We will be using IELTS as the base curriculum and we will infuse that with adventures.

Why? IELTS lessons are quite exorbitant, so by making this a part of our camp, it helps alleviate the financial burden on parents. 2, IELTS is experience based, and the majority of the topics are drawn from students’ experiences, so by providing the students with the activities, it allows the students to draw from a greater pool of fresh experiences. 3, students always learn in a linear fashion through repetition, but our goal here is to ensure that students don't feel like they are learning, but what they acquire is taken in their stride through the adventures. 4, neuroscience research has confirmed that learning something could take as many as 400 repetitions to develop a synapse, but during play, this is greatly reduced to between 10 - 20 play sessions. 5, the IELTS is an important test to not only gauge students’ proficiency in the language, but also something needed to study abroad. We believe that, through years of experience this in-house developed curriculum would be the most efficient, effective and beneficial way for students to learn English due to its experiential and functional nature.
